Burger Patties
Makes 4-5
Ingredients:
• 1 can (400g) black or kidney beans, rinsed and drained
• 2 tbsp. water
• 200g mushrooms
• 1 small onion
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 5 tbsp. flour
• 1 cup bread crumbs
• 1 tsp. paprika
• 1 tsp. black pepper
• ½ tsp. herbes de Provence
• ½ tsp. vegetable broth powder
• A pinch of smoked paprika
• A pinch of salt
Directions:
• Add beans and water to a food processor and pulse until smooth, transfer paste to a big bowl
• Add mushrooms, onion and garlic cloves to the food processor and pulse 3-4 times until finely chopped
• Add mushroom mixture to the bean paste, along with all the other ingredients and mix until well combined (best with your hands)
• Form 4-5 patties out of the mixture
• Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add burger patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown
