Burger Patties with Kidney Beans and Sweet Corn
Ingredients
- 1 can 400g kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 medium red onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 3 1/2 tbsp. sweet corn
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 6-7 tbsp. flour
- Olive oil
Directions

Mash kidney beans with a fork or roughly blend them in a food processor

Heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat

Add red onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat

Add kidney beans, onion and garlic from the pan, flour, paprika, chili, soy sauce, sweet corn, flour and some salt and pepper to a bowl

Mix the mixture with your hands until well combined

Form 4-6 patties out of the mixture

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add your burger patties

Cook them for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy
