No-Bake Granola Bars

For 12-15 gronala bars

•180g oats
•2 tbsp. ground almonds
•pinch of salt
•1 tsp. sesame seeds
•75g additional ingredients e.g. chocolate chips, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, coconut flakes, vanilla, cinnamon etc.
•7 tbsp. neutral oil or coconut oil
•5 tbsp. maple syrup or agave nectar


•In a mixing bowl, combine oats, ground almonds, salt and sesame seeds
•Chop up your additional ingredients (the smaller the better) and add them to the bowl
•Heat oil and maple syrup in the microwave for about 30s – 1 min. Add to the bowl and mix well
•line a flat baking dish or pan with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture to it and press down slightly with a rubber spatula or spoon to even out
•Place the pan in the refrigerator for 1 – 1 1/2 hours
•Transfer the uncut bars to a cutting board and, using a sharp knife, cut into rectangles
•optional: Pour melted chocolate or peanut butter over them and store in the fridge for another 30 minutes
